Do you have dreams you want to make into reality? Then create a vision board! Some of the most successful people in the world have used a vision board to help motivate them to achieve their goals. This visualization tool can help you become a success in whatever way you wish.
You can buy one but the best way to really connect with your own personal goals is to make one yourself. You can use cork or poster boards. The idea is to make a visual representation of the things you want for yourself. When we focus on those things daily, we can bring them into fruition because visualization is what awakens the creativity in your subconscious and helps wire your brain to take advantage of your powers.
Quite simply, it’s the Law of Attraction. So, if there’s something you want, make your vision board now. See it and BELIEVE it as if it is happening now!! Feel it!! Taste it!! Here are some ways to make one.
1. Symbolize with pictures
Go through magazines, print photos from the internet, or even use photos you’ve taken that capture the feelings you have about your goals. It should symbolize the experience, feeling, or things that you want to come into your life. There is no right or wrong here. It is whatever speaks to you and gives you that feeling of inspiration for your goal.
2. Use a happy photo of yourself
By putting yourself on the board, you’re putting yourself into the vision. So choose a photo where you are having a happy moment. Putting your positive affirmations with this photo is also an excellent idea. These words should be feel-good words that inspire you.
3. Choose your focus
Your vision board is what you make of it. You can choose to use it for all your goals and dreams or just for one particular area of focus. Whichever you choose, keep it tidy because a chaotic board will attract chaos and you don’t want that.
4. Focus on feelings
For some of the images you choose, it will be exact depictions of what you want. But it doesn’t always have to be that. If you’re looking for the perfect love or home or career, these things don’t need to be an exact representation. Instead, look for photos that make you feel like screaming, “Eureka! That’s it!” Capturing those feelings is critical for your inspiration toward your goals.
5. Keep it positive
Vision boards are your own representation of your personal visions. Anything goes when creating them, however there is one rule: no negativity. Choose words, quotes, photos, and colors that make you feel positive because that’s exactly what you want to attract. In particular, words that inspire how you want to feel are very powerful such as “loved,” “successful,” or “joyful.”
6. Make multiple boards
If you have a lot of different goals and things seem like they might get cluttered, there is no harm in making more than one vision board. For example, you could create one for your personal goals and another one for your career.
Use it often, especially at night before bed. What you see in the last moments before going to sleep will run through your subconscious all night so make it count in order to achieve the goals you envision! Have fun making the vision board. BE CREATIVE with IT!! Have a vision board party!!
Make one or two or three in all areas of your life you want to MANIFEST and make it a reality!!
Keep the vision alive!! Release all negative thought. Take analytical mind out of the equation while making and creating your VISION!!
